Hi, I’m Emily. While it’s tricky to pinpoint my niche, I excel at projects that intersect simplicity, technicality, and boldness—whether for a brand, product, or website. I love big type, bright color, and clean logos.
I fell in love with design in art museums. Invisible design—like wayfinding signage, brand submarks, or museum labels—I find delightful. These (often overlooked) elements support a greater goal: experience. I am drawn to projects that lead users, clients, or customers into carefully thought-out spaces, digital or physical. I care deeply about how design is connected to the overall human experience—how it leads to discovery, community, or deeper understanding.
I grew up outside of Augusta, Georgia, first in Evans and then in Lincoln County. I’ve lived in Chattanooga proper for 4 years. I am a lover of 80s synth pop, woodworking, baking, board games, and cocktail cherries.
If any of that sounds intriguing to you, send me a message. I also love to chat.
